Our approach

How we work

Four stages, five disciplines, one independent team.
We sell no hardware or electricity and are not affiliated with any grid operator.

Five disciplines in one team

  • Technical

What the site, the load and the connection can physically do.

  • Regulatory

Which contracts, codes and exemptions apply.

  • Commercial

Who you contract with, on what terms.

  • Financial

    Whether it pays back.

  • Operational

Whether your people can run it every day.

Our only interest is the right answer for you

  • We sell no hardware or electricity and are not affiliated with any grid operator.
  • We are not tied to any technology or brand.
  • We tell you when the best option is to do nothing, or to wait.

Our tools and engineering

We built the tools we work with. The Decision Tool has been developed over more than five years of projects and holds what we learned on substations, depots and sites. Alongside it, we use models trained on our own project data.

The result: our advisors spend their time on your decision, not on rebuilding a spreadsheet. That is why our answers come in weeks, our scopes can be fixed and our numbers are precise. You buy the answer, not the software.

When an engagement needs software of its own, we build it inside your organisation from these same building blocks. Embedded Build

Speed and fixed scopes

A Flex Scan takes three weeks from data to decision memo. Every engagement has a fixed scope, agreed up front.

The grid operator at the table

Without a picture of the grid topology, a demand picture stays a sum on paper. That is why we organise the grid information as a fixed part of the work.

  1. Public data first

Capacity maps and grid data from the regional grid operator and TenneT.

  2. The right way in

Through the account manager to the grid strategist or asset manager for the area.

  3. A targeted information request

Which stations feed which districts, what is free, reserved or in the queue, and what is planned.

  4. A joint working session

Linking projects to stations, with agreements on confidential grid data.

  5. Feedback and offer

Your demand picture also helps the grid operator. Together we look at what you can offer.
