Today we are expanding our team and accelerating our international growth. To support this exciting phase, we are looking for an Electrical Project Engineer to join the team! As an Electrical Project Engineer, you will; Lead the electrical engineering scope of all Skoon projects, involving mobile battery deployments in challenging rental projects and grid flexibility hubs. Advise on electrical compatibility and integration with customer infrastructure, ensuring compliance with grid standards and safety regulations. Coordinate with suppliers of energy systems, flexibility service providers, grid operators and energy users to technically prepare and execute electrical installations. Provide on-site and remote technical support during deployment, commissioning, and operational phases. Act as the technical point of contact to both internal teams (operations, development, sales teams) and external stakeholders (energy users, suppliers, site technicians). Monitor performance and troubleshoot technical failures in the energy systems to ensure rapid resolution, with minimal downtime. Candidate Profile We are looking for a hands-on Electrical Project Engineer, who can solve problems quickly and diligently, and knows the dynamics of a fast-paced start-up. Ideally you are someone who has a strong foundation in electrical systems and can thrive in complex technical environments. We are looking for someone who : Has 3+ years of relevant experience in electrical project engineering, preferably in energy storage, grid integration or industrial energy systems. Holds a degree in Electrical Engineering or similar branch. Has experience with deploying energy systems and understands its challenges. Has a problem-solving mindset with the ability to earn the trust of customers, who are facing technical challenges. Is patient, calm and in control, with confidence in managing stakeholders and working with deadlines. Communicates effectively and smoothly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and partners. Understands the grid connection standards and safety protocols. Is detail-oriented, organised and capable of managing multiple energy projects simultaneously. Is able to speak, read, and write English and Dutch at a professional level.
